In the early timeslot we have BlueBells V Knight. Bluebells are coming off that epic Universe Point win last week and are riding high. They'll be looking to capitalize on the wave of confidence and try to revive their season. Knight won as well last week and have been playing consistently all League. They will be hard to beat, especially with Jony Warren-White steering the ship & Chris Palazzi featuring in more highlight reels than any other player.

Not too bad
as ultimate videos go, but still nearly unwatchable - I turned it off after 2 minutes.
Seriously, why is it so hard to get decent film coverage of ultimate? Go look at the NexGen videos to see how it should be done.

Thanks for feedback
Hi Zephyr,
Thanks for your feedback, can you elaborate more why it was un-watchable for you. We are trying different things out to try to find the best way to do it...
Ultimate people want wide shots showing the whole field, new people watching want to see the people who are playing... we are trying for a balance with the wide and the close shots we are using (and we are limited to the clubhouse roof location we are on that is not ideal : )
If we get enough subscribers (hint hint) we will be able to purchase a scaffold and experiment with the side on view NextGen used at USA open (I assume that is what you are talking about)
Thanks again for the feedback.

Multi Camera edit
Would love to get some more feedback on the two camera edit of the game... do the angles work for you... Any suggestions on angles we could try to use?
Be kind... it takes hours to edit a game to these standards : )

Hey Mike,
I don't want to seem too negative - I definitely think you're doing a cool thing and I know it must be difficult on a limited budget.
For me, it's only enjoyable to watch when I can see enough of the field to anticipate the flow of play and where the disc is going to go next. Obviously, this requires nice cameras and a good vantage point.
I would try to avoid panning the camera while the disc is in flight as much as possible, since that makes it more difficult to track it's motion unless it's done very smoothly - get the whole pass in one shot if possible, for long hucks cut from the thrower to the receiver hopefully at least a second before the catch.
Close ups are nice occasionally, but I think they are best done as replays after the point is scored.
One thing I absolutely hate is the chest high shot, zoomed in on the thrower shot - there is no perspective so it looks like a flat cutout with players crossing in front and behind the thrower almost at random.
TLDR: Basically, if I'm watching an ultimate video, I want to see sweet highlights, or a whole field perspective that lets me appreciate the team strategy. Best is if they are combined through replays.

Thanks for your feedback
Hi Zephyr,
Thanks for your feedback. Mike & I appreciate it when people take the time to comment on what we are doing.
Alot of what we are doing is either restricted by our budget, or by our location or by both. Only way for it to improve is with the support of the community.
